Well back on line now Absolutely no service in Fowey for computers. We left St Mawes after a lovely stay. We left on Monday and went up the Helford River and moored on a buoy, there we explored Trebah gardens and the nearest pub, it was £25 to moor on the buoy with absolutely no facilities ashore, it was only £15 in St Mawes, and there was a nice quay to get ashore, so we won't be going to Helford again. We left the next day and came to Fowey, first of all we were moored on the pontoon, but after being on a buoy we found it noisy and no privacy so the next morning when a buoy became free we moved there quickly, it was lovely, an uninterupted view of Fowey, peace and quiet. As it was so hot in the day, we had to get up about 7ish to take the dogs for a walk in the cool, the first day we walked the coast path and had breakfast of coffee and croissant on a bench over looking the sea, it was perfect. The next day we walked to Golant and had our breakfast in a buttercup field! Today, yes, we were up at 7 walked to Polruan and the coast path, got some shopping in for the expected visitors, set off at 11 and arrived at Salcombe at 4, moored on a buoy, with a lovely allround view of Salcombe, had a meal out in the pub, made the beds for Nigel and Phil who are on their way here for the weekend and to take the dogs home, we are hoping to go to Guernsey on Monday. So ready for a holiday!
